Her Passion:

Debbie Farrington Kram brings a “gentle mother’s heart” to her prayer counseling ministry. Her sensitivity and compassion in listening is evident and her ability to access the depth of one’s heart is strong, helping you feel loved, affirmed, and accepted. Her passion is to help you become free of the “entanglements-of-life” through discovering what has caused your life and your relationships to become difficult and painful.

Her Mission Statement:

With the prompting of the Holy Spirit, Debbie’s mission is to speak truth into your life where there once was confusion, depression, and even oppression; the truth clears out the cluttered messages and allows you to live out of authenticity and joy. As the false narrative of your heart is dismantled, God’s peace, freedom, and wholeness bring out the uniqueness of His design for your life. The destiny that Father God has planned for you will shine and be known.

Her Specialties:

Debbie’s specialties include: woman’s issues, children, parenting and family issues, anger and forgiveness, guilt and shame, grief and loss, rejection, broken relationships, depression, and anxiety.

Her Background:

Debbie has been ministering and providing support to friends and family in their life journeys for many years. She has lead small groups and Bible studies, taught workshops entitled The Healing Oils of the Bible, as well as various emotional and healthy living and lifestyle classes. She taught elementary and middle school science classes for five years before she became a stay-at-home mother, homeschooling her three sons, and also teaching science classes at various homeschool cooperatives. These experiences allowed her love and passion for God’s creation, nature, nutrition, and “healthy living” lifestyles to shine.

 

Her Roots:

Born and raised in Glenview, Illinois, Debbie felt the whispers of the Father and experienced immense delight in His creation and natural settings she frequented as a child—her grandparents’ Wisconsin farm, her other grandparents’ lakeside cottage in the dunes of Lake Michigan, and camping and hiking trips with her friend and neighbor. Although raised with a church background and church school education, she did not start her truth journey and born again experience with Jesus until she was in college as an adult. Debbie is uniquely positioned to help people discern the difference between biblical truth and manmade doctrines. Her relationship with the Father is favored without the complication and confusion of religion and legalism.

Her Training:

Debbie’s training in Prayer Counseling includes certification from completing Elijah House Video Facilitated Basic I and Basic II Prayer Counseling School training, and Freedom House Ministry 6-day intensive Internship, including 25 hours of observation. Debbie has also received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education from George Williams College. She continued her studies and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from National-Louis University, along with her certification to teach K-9.

Her Family:

Debbie has been married to Guenther for 27 years, and they have three sons ages 21, 19, and 16—and their English Cocker Spaniel, Ivy.
